You can get it brand new from price match at OW + ING 5%. For $177.3

        • How can I split the bill into two at OfficeWork?

        • In a prev deal, some reburb's had issues, eg, after firmware upgrades…?

          The $149 reburb is 16 GB only…

        • Just ask them nicely that you would like to split the payment 90+87.3. Usually they do it.

        • I've been meaning to ask, if you pay $177.30 via paywave do you get 5% up to $100 or you don't get any rebate at all?

        • You have to split the payment if you are looking for the 5%

        • Up to $99.99

        • So you get the discount on both payments?

        • Yes.
ING gives a rebate for all contact less transactions, which have to be under $100. It does not matter what the total store transaction is, only what each card payment transaction is.
ING sees them as 2 different transactions.

Seriously don't know why people think a 5% rebate from ING is the best buying option. I'd rather buy on my credit card at the normal price and receive a 1 year extended warranty on the item, receive price protection, and receive accidental loss/damage insurance cover. Those benefits to me easily outweigh a 5% saving.

        • I bought 16gb refurb from CFOnline deal. Updated to latest firmware via OTA update without any issues. Device looks and works just like a new one IMO.

        • Which card? Do you pay an annual fee?

        • I wouldn't recommend buying a refurbished one unless it is significantly cheaper than brand new. The battery on my refurb one died after 6 months…rang ASUS for warranty and guess what? They told me the serial number on my tablet is INCORRECT so go tell someone who cares. Luckily I managed to get a refund from the seller.

        • Credit card extended warranty and insurance usually have an excess of $100. If the item is less than $100 then ING 5% rebate is the best buying option.

        • Agree, for items less than $100 the 5% off with ING is not bad. But anything else of more substantial value there is real piece of mind having those credit card backup policies.

        • whats this ING thing

  • It is a very good deal comparing $299.00 at Play store, but I will still wait for 3G one.

Don't know why they still have the old one for $299 there? Since the new one only $339.

Of course, O'works, Macca's, etc. have public WiFi.

(Use the non-3G version to run MyNetFone VoIP client and/or Skype + a subscription for calls in & out (2 active landline numbers / device), when used in a WiFi area)
