You're right. It was $1.99 for digital version. My bad :)

Also, only one is green, the others are orange, red and yellow…

  • Minor detour: trying to decide between getting a masticating/slow juicer or a Vitamix like power blender. Which one would you choose?

    • slow juicer: if you're meticulous and have the patience to stand there putting cut-up bits thru the tiny feeder hole, could theoretically get thru your recommended 7 veggies and 5 fruits in just a few glasses (I hate eating veggies, hence have an appointment with the Grim Reaper much sooner)

    • Vitamix: supposedly pulverises the cell walls of fruits & veggies, allowing for more bio-availability. TONNEs of fibre will be flooding your system - could be bad or good, depending on your colon function.

[I have left aside the ancillary functions of both - slow juicer can make nut butters, pasta, sausages etc. Vitamix can make almond milk, grind up your grains into flour, make hot soup (way to upsell a defect into a 'feature') etc. - as I just want to focus on their fresh juicing/'smoothie'ing capability]

    NB.
    - Can't go the "Just buy both" route as I plan to move from a house into a teeny tiny flat.
    - Price(s): about $400 for slow juicer, about $995 for Vitamix
