nice not sure what the point is of unlocking it though as it only does telstra 3G/4G anyways? unles you want a 2G phone…? in this case why would you get this one?

    • "Network: 3G: 850/2100 (MHz) GSM/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 (MHz) 4G: 1800/2600 MHz"
Do the other Telco's not use 2100Mhz for 3G?

      • -1

        900 for 3g…

        • Optus 3G Single band = 2100MHz
          Optus 3G Dual Band = 2100MHz/900MHz

    • +2

Voda, Optus 4G network are all running at 1800MHz, So this mobile will also work with Optus and vodafone 4G service

    • Thats for iPhones… which are already free to unlock anyway.

All I see is iphone unlocking there..
$18 is still too much though.

    • What's the cheaper alternate to Bagman then?

      • you can download specific software from the chipmaker or similar. i know of one called sigmakey (i'm pretty sure) that will work with a lot of phones. did i just let the cat out of the bag?

  • Amazing price if your looking for an Android phone

  • Wonder if anyone knows how to customise the menu page of the phone, not the icons on the page, but say delete a page and set home page.

    thanks in advance.

Press the Option soft-key and then click "Edit screens". This is assuming the lancher is stock and is not a customized version.

If there is no such option then I suggest you install another Homescreen (launcher) such as Holo HD, Apex, or Nova.

      • thanks mate,

I didn't seem to be able to find the option key for the homescreen with this ZTE T81. Will try launcher as suggested.

        Many thanks,

        Bob

  • How this one compare to this: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/115441

    • The LG looks to be a superior phone/deal for a little more cost.

    • Can't compare to that, as that has expired.

  • Will it work with ALDI Mobile?

  • Ugly phone!

    • It's not ugly. Just fat (11mm to be precise).

      • It's not fat. Just big boned.

        Beefcake!

    • *fugly old hound that can run really quick..just not on Woolworth (4)G. (or Aldi)

  • good deal compared to the Huawei for 99$ = 5 $ unlocking, twice as much ram.

  • Want an sd card slot because I'm greedy like that.

  • It's just the fattyboomba here http://www.gsmarena.com/zte_grand_x_lte_t82-4873.php @over X1hundred dollar you got ur sub-HD plastic screen, gig of ram, mono SIM & ohyeh .. 4g. o:
