    yes, you can try that and then you will find that it does not work for this model phone, unless I can be proven wrong.

    Wintechmobiles caculator does not work
    It is nearly half what the fone is worth ($29).
    I will wait till comes down $5 if not buy another prepaid fone for the carrier I need to have it on

      Just becareful with the Wintechmobiles caculator as its mainly for 'older' ZTE mobiles and if you enter the code from there to unlock this model.
      You could lock yourself out from entering the code, as each model mobile has an X amount of attempts to enter the unlock code before it locks that option out and then you will have to take it to someone to reset.
      rps, the price will drop … its all a matter of time and waiting till it does.

    It worked 100%….That was really easy.

    1. I used a Virgin mobile sim.

    2. Booted the phone and the screen said "Enter network unlock code"

    3. I entered the unlock code supplied by you and pressed "OK"

    4. It booted straight to virgin mobile ready to go.

    Dead easy to do.

    thank you again, very happy to get rid of that telstra lock.

    i just got one can you tell me can you use gps on this one? and to use gps do you need to have the sim card connected - does it use data

      I honestly cannot tell you as I do not own one :) but I suppose if you use google maps you would need a sim card and use data.
      Someone more knowledgeable may come along and supply the answer to you in here.

      Just log into your Paypal account, make a payment to [email protected] and email me the IMEI.
      As soon as payment is received, I will email you the Unlock Code and instructions.

      No … the unlock codes are from each phones IMEI, different each time.

        All good. Got code within minutes. Accepted by phone. No longer with Telstra, so a happy customer. Also helps when you put the SIM card in the right way :)

      I can unlock it … have unlocked alot of them from members here at Ozbargains.
      Just make sure the phone has not been Hard Locked by entering the wrong unlock codes too many times.

      It will ask for the unlock code as soon as a non Telstra sim card is put in and the turned on.
      Just make sure the phone is not Locked by entering the wrong unlock code too many times as it will disable the ability to enter the unlock code.

Also, do Paypal buyer protection laws apply when sending funds to an email address? like when using Ebay? I don't suppose you happen to operate via Ebay as well? That would be preferred.
