Same happened here!
Better quality than the uptown downtown thingy?
Nope lower quality.
Uptown>Downtown>this one.
1 downtown left at Waurn Ponds for $27
About 10 available (various colours) at HN Knox City on Sunday afternoon.
One review on head-fi available here
The built quality of this unit is inferior to the downtown uptown thingy. It looks really cheap.
Agree with donkeykong
I've bought this from the last HN special for $16. It's made by cheap plastics, which you can hear the squeaking noise like a toy when you twist any part of the headphone. The size isn't right for an adult, e.g. The top arc press on top of my head very tightly, and since the overall build is too small, I'd have to stretch the headphone to it's max, but then it's very tight to both ear which I have to remove it for every 10 minutes of usage.
It's the worst $16 I've ever spent on a headphone. Wish that I could have spent a bit more for a more comfy one.
^ Nothing but the truth.
I got them from Officeworks months ago because I'm generally a fan of the value-for-money sound quality and comfort of Philips headphones but these are not worth any amount of money.
The cups are big enough for a newborn fetus's ears but not an adult's, the sound quality is terrible, tinny and distorted and the headband is way too small.
When i followed the link a chat popup opened, this is creeping me out…
