I've got this book, it's a good read for a once over. And makes a good present. But after a year or so, the info will be pretty outdated.

  Yeah I probably wouldn't spend $70 on it but figured it's a pretty good freebie if you or your dad are into boutique coffee and wanted to get some equipment for a gift or yourself.

    yes : ) but FYI merchandise prices are quite high. I would go for some roasted coffee (3 x 250gm of various types).
