Not sure if this is store specific; have seen them at other Coles stores for $1.25 each over the past few days.
There were plenty of punnets left when I was there this evening.
Either way, very cheap for strawberries.
Must be strawberry season. Local Coles had them for 2 for $3.60 the other day…

I'd like to know what the deal is with strawberries lately.
I've bought them in the store and they have looked nice.
I get them home and eat a few and they have been nice but in under 24 hours they start to rot away and go off.
I suspect they are cold stored or something similiar.
I bought some at woolies Saturday and on Sunday the remaining strawberries needed to be turfed. Today I bought some from Coles but I think I my Coles charged more than the price in this post.
It just likes some bargains. Eat them quick or miss them.
Woolies was also clearing them at a slightly higher price of 3 for $3.99 (or $1.98 each). Quality of the strawberries at the store I saw this at wasn't good so probably why they're trying to get rid of them.

I'm surprised we're getting so cheap strawberries at this time of the year! Bought one for $1.25 at Coles yesterday and was pleasantly surprised at the size and quality (a lil sour but good).
