Good Day!
My dad will be a Security Officer and I want to make him a present.
I understand that security officers are not allowed to carry any weapons on them for self defense(low level risk jobs). But I guess a flashlight is ok.
So I found this ~1kg ~34cm flashlight http://www.fasttech.com/products/1601/10005077/1398600-trust…

Any decent Maglites that can be compared with this?
Maglite ML100 is not bad http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Maglite-ML100-3C-3-Cell-C-Multi-m…
Please tell me what do you think.
Thank you
All the Best
the torch seems a little expensive for 3 x x-ml t6, but i have never heard of xm-l2
as far a batteries go im only down with the 18650s and would only buy panasonic batteries but i heard there are a few other reputable brands such as sanyo possibly soshine. i have a soshine charger and it works well. i'd be a little hesistant with anything trustfire as i have only had bad experiences quality wise. i had a skyfire that probably lasted the longest (6 months) that was a t4000 with a 3 x xm-l setup and it was extremely bright with a flood beam that comfortably went about 200m. here's a little about the xm-l2 from the cree website. basically read some forums and see whats selling the most on ebay or aliexpress
