The higher-end CX-series Senny's sound very good imo. I've had a pair of CX-870's (passive noise-cancelling) for over 4 years now and they are the best sounding in-ear headphones I've ever listened to and they don't suffer from that chronic lack of bass that seems to afflict every other pair of Sennheiser headphones.
