  • i had a HoMedics massage seat add on
    it was painful and poor.
    anyone tested this?
seems good value if you find it really works.

  • Had a quick look for reviews, don't see any.

Seems suspiciously cheap. What's the story, Bing?

  • I am after a good chair.in Adelaide, looking for a show room or a store with some to test. Have looked on forums but can't seem to find any yet. Anyone know any? 2K budget.

    • From what i know the top brand is OSIM but they do not come cheap.

  • Tempting with free shipping.. but these things are really hit and miss, I would want to try one somewhere.. any shops carry them? Need to know if you can stop the roller and move it incrementally up and down around one spot and little details like that. Also if the vibration is just a useless buzz or actually a deep vibration.

    • Doesn't look like the roller and be stopped and moved incrementally. But you can select full back, upper back or lower back.
Not sure about the vibration, but ti's one of those where you can vary the speed and intensity, so might just be a bzzz bzuzzz..

There is a youtube video of it , if this helps anyone.

  • well i bought one.
    see how it is.
The german sites all sell it for over 600 euros so it cant be too bad. (hopefully)

  • Apparently it is reasonably loud, you can use it for 15 minutes then it shuts off for half an hour.

  • Holy crap, this is so cheap. I've always wanted my own massage chair… anyone know why it's so cheap?

    • Most massage chairs have kneeding, knocking, rolling type function. I don't think this one does.

      • If it had those functions then it would not be that kind of price.

  • Sold out.

  • still available I just got one!

    • It had sold out. Maybe some people didn't complete transaction, or they released more stock for sale.
Shipping is NO LONGER FREE though. Now it's $256 to Perth. Glad I got it, while they had free shipping.

  • Very tempt with that price but not sure its performance and the effectiveness.

  • Still available, however shipping is $127 to Melbourne

  • it's only for in-store purchase now. No free delivery.

  • Glad I bought one before. Delivery is now $180. Thanks OP.

Received mine today and very happy with it I have to say. The recliner itself is great and the massage functions are more than decent. For the price a definite bargain. Thanks again OP and Bing Lee top stuff.

    • Thanks dins, can you elloaborate a little more at all that would be very appreciated. Loudness, adjustability e.g if you are short i.e 5 foot tall vs 6 foot tall will it still be good and strength of vibration/massage options. Cheers

It's fairly quiet but the vibration can be a bit noisy when set to the highest intensity and speed. Not many options when it comes to massage though - full back, lower back or upper back. All 3 can be used with heat and vibration as well. The vibration only seems to work in the seat and leg rest area though (ie not in the back rest as suggested by the video somewhat). Although limited when it comes to massage options what it does have it does quite well imo. You can also move the back rest pad back to get a more intense massage which is great. I'm 6ft and someone who is around 5ft used it as well and no complaints. Overall a decent unit and for the price ($300 delivered) it's a steal. Hope that helps :)
