Recently bought this deal

They sent me an invalid code and when I queried it they responded:

Dear customer,

We are not sure where is the problem. As when we test the code it works well. Or we can activate a new code for you from our side. Could you please send us your account and password? After we activate code successfully, please change your password.

Sounds like a total scam, just wanted to warn everyone.

I have opened a Paypal dispute to hopefully get my money back.

    I'm in the same position. Not sure what to do now, checking back on other threads they seem to sort issues out and others haven't had problems.
    I spoke to Microsoft and they say the codes are blacklisted.
    Will see what they suggest on the next reply…

    Same. Will see what they say other than the stock response and put in a claim with Paypal if they are dodgy.

    I went on live chat with them and they wanted me to download TeamViewer. I kept requesting a refund or working code and they eventually refunded me. Hope no1 else gets caught by these buggers.

    Got a refund. Looks like I need to find somewhere else to get me codes :( Good on them. Just silly to create the suspicion by asking for passwords.

    So are all these xbox worldwide codes going to be blocked?

    Has anyone had a successful buy from them? Looking to get gold from them, maybe I'll try out the 6 dollar one month version just to be safe, losing 6 dollars is just skipping an Oporto meal!

      If you pay with Paypal you'll be covered anyway but apparently these are blacklisted codes they are handing out

        Hey Jen,

        I took the bait and paid for one month, Paid at 7:18 and received code at 8:17, and it worked on my Aus account! Don't really have the guts to get the 12 month code just yet, will build up backbone during this month and perhaps take the plunge!

        Glad you got a refund, good to hear they don't just shut the door on people!

    Ah cool, well I got a 12 month gold from a guy on ebay he emailed the code within an hour and it worked great, worked out about $44 AUD (£25 GBP)

      there's a dialog option that comes after you input a code and lets you know what you will be getting when you press redeem. This happens only when you input a code on the Xbox, if you do it online it just redeems without letting you know what you will get.
