MSY sells this same mouse for $113…
This is a very good price!
i sense another Dell pricing error…

  • Exceptional price.

  • Wow great price. Assuming it's not an error and they pull all the orders.

I have one of these and its great. The rubber coating on the right was wearing away but got a new one under warranty so all good in the end. Performance of the mouse though was unaffected.

  • +1

    it's a dell, it's a pricing error

    don't bother…

  • This is a good mouse, very responsive and comfortable. i am using the VX (smaller for notebooks) version at the moment.

Just letting you guys know that the MX version does not have a middle click button. pressing the middle wheel just toggles between free-spin and click-spin mode for the scroll wheel.

  • Is it the same model here:
    http://www.umart.com.au/pro/products_listnew.phtml?id=10&id2…

    Thanks for answer

    • Yes.

      I just ordered three.

Will let everyone know if it gets rejected.

      • Thanks for your fast reply. I ordered one and wish it wouldn't reject.
One of the best deals among those "free Tarot" like deals all over the OzBargain these days!(-:

  • Good Price! Good Mouse!

  • Is there any EPP coupon that would work for this?

    • I might be wrong, but I think EPP normally applies to system orders. However, you still get a whopping $1.023 off through MBC. :)

  • Just ordered one too, should go well with my laptop!

  • Ordered 3 with one CC and 3 with another CC + different address.

    Won't bother using DD.

Submitted details. Looks like payment is in pre-authorisation stage.

Don't think I'll get them anyways but got nothing to lose =P

  • Just ordered one, looking forward to seeing it :-)

  • -1

"MISTAKES: While all efforts are made to check pricing and other errors, inadvertent errors do occur from time to time and Dell reserves the right to decline orders arising from such errors."

    • May be it isn't a mistake. Based on staticice one store has this up for sale for $65.
Who knows what's going on in the Dell. May be they decided to get rid of these mouses any way. By the way I wouldn't by a mouse for $113 (it's normal price)

  • ordered one, worth a shot

  • Just ordered one too, Need a new mouse.. Hopefully they will honor this..

    Thanks pokerplayer.

  • I just got a email from dell and in the email it does say $35 dollars which is after $20 dollars cashback

    • So, that would be 14.10 after $20 cashback? :)

      • I believe $34.10 is the cashback included price

      • i think he means $35 is already after cashback.

but when i ordered, receipt says $34.10

    • Mine didn't mention anything about cash back and the total price is $34.10

  • -4

i could resell them on ebay., i can see some going for $90…

  • yea, so its real guys, I'm quite sure

  • anyone know how to change how to pay for dell? or what are the eft payment details for dell? Because with EFT it says use Interenet reference number, and I can't put it because of the dashes

    • remove the dashes

  • LOL I can imagine a computer store buying like 1000 of these off Dell and reselling them for like the normal price they usually sell it for.

Somebody will make a killing off these!

I do wonder if they have a "limited" stock though, or is it just unlimited and they will keep buying from Logitech kinda thing.

    • -1

well ive ordered 8 so far. I do think if dell saw an order for 1000, they wouldn't allow it, as its for commercial use or something. but who knows!

      • So what would the cost price be for this mouse?

        • No - the cost price is much much more than $34.10! Probably closer to $60-70 ex GST.

Retailers also get rebates and bonuses from distributors so it might not be completely accurate.

  • I just realized that i got the e-mail too, but i read it and skipped through it.

I'm having a feeling that it was meant to say $134? hahahah. hope not..

  • ordered three as well, it's a brilliant mouse, I've got one already.

  • this will be another bait and switch by Dell. I can assure you all.

  • Ordered 1 and hope that they will honour it.

  • I believe they will considering it was sent via email

  • Ordered 3 - not that I need them haha.

  • -6

pricing error…. will charge u full price

  • This is the first time the cheap price for a Dell item/system has also shown up in an email (I think). This one will be interesting that's for sure. Fingers crossed!

  • -2

its not worth the hassle… ull have to chase them back for the money etc etc

    • Actually you don't, if you pay via CC they don't even charge your card, all they'll do is call you to apologise.

There is a very very small chance this deal will go through but I've put in some orders anyway. Doesn't hurt!

  • i have the MX1100, its very tempting to upgrade for that price

    • If they do ship one, you won't regret it.

    • +1

Remember if you bought the MX1100 as part of a keyboard/mouse combo, you'll need to have 2 receivers plugged in to use the MX Revolution.

I was going to get one but couldn't be bothered.

  • pay by creditcard, that way if they bail you wont get charged.

  • Yep pay by credit card..

    I think if I get a confirmation.. I might order a few more :D

  • +2

why does dell always take so long to fix up their errors? by now they would see that they are getting many many sales of this mouse… are they trying to suck as much people in then say sorry and offer it at a crappier and much higher price? this brings email advertising to a whole new level that only dell could do!

  • if i pay by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), will they automatiaclly refund my money>?

    • Yes, been there done that.

  • +3

As mentioned above, this isn't an error!!

I got an email from dell with 'Giant Easter Deals', here is the link to the online version of it (for when you can't view it in your email)

    great deal!

    • Yeah, I got the e-mail also & looked at the mouse & thought "I'll order one of them tomorrow"… Boy, am I sorry now that I went to bed & didn't order it then & there!!!
      Cheers,
Make mine Tea, Earl Grey, Hot.

  • cool. just ordered 2.

  • Yeah, prob not an error, i got the email this arvo and thought about posting it up here… looking forward to seeing my box of mice come in ;) Instant profits, this one.

    • +5

And let me guess, you will just flog them off in your shop/online? If not then I apologise, but I think it's pretty sh*tty form to order such numbers, preventing others from benefitting from the price. But it's also Dell's mistake not to place a limit on it. Unless their commercial qty limit is less than 20.

I admit though that this isn't the first time someone has done it and nor will it be the last. Just ensures less people get a cheap mouse.

      • Yep, his earlier post said

"i could resell them on ebay., i can see some going for $90…"

So I guess if I see 28 of them listed on eBay I know it's you phasercomputers. Kinda agree, 28's kind of overdoing it…

Plus it's not only you that can sell them on eBay….everyone can. I can imagine hundreds coming up on eBay within the next few weeks and everyone will be battling it out to sell them. Then the price will drop to like $50 because there's so many and not enough buyers…

        • -5

yea probably. Until they all run out, then up they go again.

  • +1

let's all buy 30 so dell won't notice!

  • +4

    Will Officeworks Match the price?

  • Thanks!
    I've ordered 3!^_^

  • Excellent, got 10…

  • Great price! just ordered 3. thanks.

  • Cheers, just ordered one.

  • ok, i wonder if they're gonna cancel orders because they DEFINITELY WON'T have enough stock.

we're probably talking about 1000's of these mouses through oz bargain alone?

Sif they have that much stock/can get that much.

I just tried and i can order an unlimited amount… which means just like cd wow need for speed underground, they won't have enough stock to for fill orders I just know it!

  • It doesn't hurt to try right? You lose nothing anyway, maybe just a lil bit of time lol

  • niccceeee…ordered 2…reasonable amount i feel…and you can claim this back in June too(via ETR)!..how sweet is that! $17.05 for a MX Revolution? you lil' beawty! fingers crossed stock doesn't run out before my order is completed :D

EDIT - Just realised….the only things i find myself buying from Dell have been uber-discounted stuff, with the previous purchase being that $250 24" monitor last year…loving it :P

  • awesum! i was ordering my studio 15 when i read about this. im adding that mouse 2 my cart! =)
btw, does anyone know about any coupons that may stack with this deal?? (yes, im a getting a bit greedy, but im just curious XD)

    • +5

Ur soooooo gonna sell em at ur shop lol!

  • +1

These problems only ever happen to Dell over the weekend - when no-one is working to notice or correct their error. I predict that Monday morning they'll notice the error, take it offline and cancel the orders. So the best way to actually get these at this price is to race down to OW first thing in the morning and have them price match based on the online price before Dell take it down.

    • -6

good call. but generally if its under office works cost they wont sell it to you.

      • Not so!

I've been down that track and they WILL honour their price match -5% policy once they verify same product + availability.
        \_/7

  • Orders should go through. People on Dells email list should have received the new deals in their email yesterday. The mouse is listed there at $34 delivered due to $20 cash off.

If people are on the mailing list and Dell want to cancel the order you just tell them " I can understand a mistake on the website but to provide the price to me in my weekly email means that the deal should be honoured as the link in the email takes me direct to the website ready to order "

  • got one
    thanks

  • i just talked to a friend who is a dell rep on msn, he reckons its just another pricing error. weekend meant no one could check/pull it off the site.

so tmrw, it gets pulled, orders cancelled and nothing we can do, since the disclaimer on every page about pricing error.

    good game.

    • -1

      oh MOTHER @#%#$^#$%#$%#$

      saw that coming lol!

oh boy, dells gonna get it again from consumers lol!

    • +1

Yeah, its no coincidence that these pricing errors always happen on a weekend or at least outside of business hours. The deal probably will be amended sometime Monday morning. People who ordered via credit card, havnt been charged yet, and Dell will just reverse the transaction of anybody who paid via direct deposit. There is no way Dell is going to sell thousands of MX Revolutions for $34 each.

  • Just put in an order for 2. Then it got me thinking is it too much to ask OW for PM?

  • I still don't c how 34+20 =$54 would be the cost price for these babies :P

    the rrp is lik $120+?

  • ordered 4… anyone get a confirmation?

  • This mouse came out in mid 2006, so it's coming to 3 years old. May be it's the last production run.

  • MISTAKES: While all efforts are made to check pricing and other errors, inadvertent errors do occur from time to time and Dell reserves the right to decline orders arising from such errors.

    It's taken from Dell website.

    Cross your fingers guys

  • Looks like it may be legit, and intended. It just came through the weekly Dell deals newsletter. Still, has the usual disclaimer regarding price attached to it…

    • yeah and the price is in an image, so unlikely to be generated from a computer database (I could be wrong though) so would be a a couple of human errors if this is the case

  • Should be fun…

  • Just put an order in for 2, I already use one of these on the MacBook Pro at home….

    Hope the honour the deal.

  • i bought 2

  • bought one last night, and another this morning. Will be using one for work and one for home.

  • Ordered 1, waiting for confirmation and may get another for HTPC if honoured

  • +1

Hope they honor this potentially erroneous deal.

I have been tossing up getting one of these having used one for a year, but since dropping it in the toilet it no longer works. If they do confirm and send me the four I ordered I can afford to lose these things and take them with me anywhere

    • +3

lol what were you doing using your laptop in the toilet :P

      • Think about it!
        Now I bet you're sorry you asked…
        \_/7

  • +1

Might be worth mentioning those subscribed to Dell's mailing list received an e-mail advertising this, and that the offer would expire April 2.

  • Just ordered 2, thanks pokerplayer. Surely this has to be honoured, advertised in a blatant email. Don't they have verifiers over there?

  • I just ordered one but I had to use an internet bank transfer. Fingers crossed that I actually get the mouse as it's quite an awesome deal!:)

  • +2

so, because i have nothing much else to do at 9:30 in the morning…apart from an unfinished assignment due at 5 today…i've run through all the comments and tallied about 86 Revolutions have been ordered by Ozbargainers so far, mind you this is just from the people who have commented, so the real tally could be monstrous…beginning to feel like this deal will be passed of as a pricing error :( …oh the doubt…

    • well look at the number of click throughs…over 2.3k at the moment.

  • +4

ooh! this is only $33 under the small and medium business
