Specs list memory card as: Memory Card: TF(Up to 32GB)
Whats a TF card? MicroSD?TransFlash card = MicroSD
There are a lot of "HD" cams around this price, but none of them are even full SD quality.
Don't expect to read a number plate except for the car in front waiting for the lights.Reviews seem positive.
I hope you do not mean the "customer" reviews on their website.

I was all set to go with the F500LHD then I noticed it was discontinued Arghhhhh. Which one to choose?
Wow - lots of choices.
Anything that you would be happy to recommend?
Thanks

Who cares, SOMETHING is better than nothing.
Most of the time you don't need numberplates , etc, you only need to prove that the idiot drove into you, not the other way round. These cameras are enough to swing an 'each bear own costs' insurance claim
Look at it another way…..40 bux on this, or $400+ on an excess because some old fart lied about what happened?
Good point, you may have just convinced to buy one.
I agree, as I got one for $20 off ebay. So is this one a bargain?
Is this cam any good?
I have one.
Pros:
- You have a camera in the car
- The mount is small enough to not obstruct your view
- It starts with the car and turns off with it
- Quality is good enough for the price being asked (especially considering free delivery)Cons:
- As others have identified, it is impossible to read number plates from moving vehicles.
- Night vision is horrible
- Included lithium battery must be size of a LR44 cell. It barely holds charge.Overall it was worth every cent from the $40 I paid for it. Won't be upgrading any time soon.
Choice recently did a review on car cams.
From the choice roundup and followup reviews online, I ended up buying a Uniden one from Dick Smith (yeah I know… "Uniden" yuck!).
Uniden iGo Cam 300 for $70.
Considering its competitors cost 2x, 3x, and even 4x as much, I'm happy to score a 1080p recorder for that price!
Choice recommended other units above it, but all of them were like triple the price…. and features/quality scores were very similar. From previous posts about the iGo 300 it just upscales to 1080p, just like this one posted.
Nice deal for a cheap in-car DVR. Purchased. Ended up costing me $31.20.
Oh, how the mighty AUD has fallen :(I made a post about 2 dashcams which are significantly better than this one. If a dashcam can't read licence plates or function well in low light condition, you might as well save the money instead. Check out these 2 dashcams instead which are both highly rated in all the dashcam websites:
I got navigator pro and is really good. But costs more though
Do you typically dismount the unit when you park your vehicle for security purposes?
I think it might get a bit cumbersome doing this every time and would make one forget or become lazy to set it up every time they go on a drive, which kind of defeats the purpose of having it.
I suppose you would treat it the same as you would a GPS unit that might make it an easy target for thieves, if left in clear view.Note site says sold out, more stock in 1-3 days.
Just received mine. Took 2 weeks from order to delivery.
Was your box all smashed up too?
Do you find it difficult to get the mount to stick to the glass?
hahahahhaah
Dash Cam from banggood, ohh the irony.
