I just checked, and the Fairfied Gardens Coles has dropped their prices to 50c, except for two items. The ceramic coffee mugs are still $2, and the coffee mugs that look like KeepCups are still $5.
So it may well be a nation-wide price drop.
My local coles had them for $1. Still great value. I got stationary set (rubbers and pencils), 3 battery tea light candles, kids owl party set ( paper plates, cups, napkins) and cupcake decorations. Next to the dollar dazzlers they also had 10 pc sistema container set for $3.50 so I couldn't resist but fill the cupboard with more plastic-they may be discounted at other stores too.
and yet you wasted all your savings on those donuts!!

It appears that the discount varies depending on the store. Bought a baster for $1, marked down from $2, two days ago. Possible it has been marked down even more since then. Everything else was also marked down similarly. Store was at Fairfield Gardens shopping center in Brisbane.
