Just wanted to correct you that PS3 are bluray region locked.
    Good find btw !

nope… I play US as well as Oz BRs. Its DVD region locked though

Mate you need to look at the back of the bluray box. You probably playing it because it has the something that looks like this. That means it plays on all regions. Some are locked to A B or C.

        http://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/ps3_regional_locking

        A
        B C

        • I really don't know if I am doing something different or if I have a special PS3, but according to this, I should not be able to play this… a movie that my 4 yr old watches everyday :)

      • Buy a copy of Ratatouille from the US and try it out ;-)

        • Region locking on Blu rays is up to the distributor, I have most of the weeds Blu rays from the us, up to series 3 works on my aust ps3, season 4 onwards doesn't.

I don't want to spoil the entire series for you, but Sheldon is autistic and says some insensitive things. It's truly a blast. 5 stars.

      • +6

Everyones tastes are different just because you don't like it means it's a crap show. Crap shows don't go for 6 seasons

        • -8

It certainly caters to a particular demographic that's for sure, one that can't spot tongue in cheek comments or sarcasm when it's right in front of them apparently. No, not my comment, that wasn't meant to be disguised. Look harder.

        • +2

If you love the show or hate it you have to admit that they do use the same jokes over and over and over and over again.

  • +1

    BAZINGA!

  • +2

Think I will wait until the series is complete, then I will get the complete set.

    • +1

It'll be a very long wait me thinks. They've got it down pat, so they could keep it going for a while…

      • Seinfeld made 9, Family Guy so far 12, Simpsons 24!
Yeah think you are right, will be a long wait…

        • Considering the man who made this series, Chuck Lorre.
Two and a Half men made 7.5 seasons before Charlie Sheen lost it and with Aston Kutcher it's made the 10th season with an 11th coming, and seems like it's still kicking strong.
Roseanne also made it to 9 seasons! (Although Chuck only wrote for that series for a couple of seasons)

So yes, it's going to be a long wait for the end of TBBT.

  • does that price include delivery OP? Thanks..

    • with VAT removed and postage added, it is about $53.30 AUD if you let Amazon currency convert. A bit less if you have a better conversion deal with your card.

    • Yes.. sorry about the late reply..

  • +3

Australian PS3 is locked to Region B blu-ray. I thought every one knew that. It will play any region free blu-ray disc though. The OP is wrong.

    • +1

He's confused because the games are region free. Fair enough.

  • +4

Lot of people seem to be getting confused over region locking (not just this thread seems to come up often with Amazon.co.uk offers).

For DVDs Australia and UK(Europe) were different regions (4 & 2) but with Blu-Rays UK and Australia are the same region (B) so ANY Blu-ray bought from Amazon.co.uk/Zavvi/The Hut unless explicitly mentioned to be US Import will work on PS/3 and any region locked Blu-ray player in Australia.

    • I have attached a link above,, have a look :)
But after having read around… I see your point.. its just that I cant explain it…

  • I guess they are flogging off the Seasons 1-5 set because there is an alternative Seasons 1-6 set http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Big-Bang-Theory-Blu-ray/dp/B00AQ…
