COMBINED

Ted's have free pick-up from their stores, or $9.95 shipping. The code COMBINED for free shipping seems to work still.

For all of you Nikon D3200, D5200 and D7100 (and COOLPIX P520) owners out there, here's a nice little gizmo that allows you to communicate with the supported camera over wireless from your Android or iOS device.

You could in its most basic form, wirelessly transmit photos from your supported cameras to your tablet and trigger the camera remotely.

Nikon's software is pretty limited:

https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/wireless-mobile-utility/id55…

but on Android there's DSLR Dashboard:

and on the iOS front (iPhone and iPad) there's some hope when iOS 7 comes out (GPS tagging!):

Here's Nikon Australia's link: http://www.nikon.com.au/en_AU/product_details.page?DCRPath=t…

Maybe someone might find this interesting.

Thanks, just grabbed one to go with my new D3200 :)
Use code '5OFFCART' for free shipping and 5% off.. Comes to $47.45 delivered!

    • Thanks man! Ordered one for my D3200 too! :)

  • will it work on a D90?

  • It would be great if SB-910 is in discount.

  • Will this work on a D4? ethernet cable is too cumbersome.

    • Nikon officially supports just a few cameras - namely the ones mentioned above plus a few more COOLPIX cameras, but I've seen some discussions where it may support others. Part of the limitation is the actual connector itself.

Brilliant. Almost certainly have no use for it, so have purchased! ;-)

  • The wireless adapter for the D4/ D80 etc costs as much as the cameras that this one attaches to!

  • With WU-1a it is also possible to live stream to your PC. A possible work in progress at below links:

Some guy planning to release his own app

  • Mine arrived - works fine. Very basic app though. Possibly should have spent the extra $25 and got the bluetooth widget from http://www.zesty.co.jp/en/index.html as it would suck less juice. Will see how this goes though - like I say, probably won't use it much if at all. Damn you, ozbargain… ;-)
