Description from course page:
When developing a mobile app for iPhone and Android, most people think they need deep experience in programming languages like Objective-C and Java.

Becoming competent in even one of these languages requires either 1.) 1,000s of hours of work. Then, even if you were to avoid that route, you could 2.) end up spending $10,000+ on a professional developer.

In both cases you’ll only be creating an app for just the iPhone, or just Google Play - both of which didn’t exist a few years ago and are sure to change.

In this course, I’ll take you through avoiding both of these huge problems.

Within 60 minutes of taking this course you’ll be able to both develop and push live your own iPhone AND Android app.

Then, with some basic HTML knowledge, and a little creativity, you’ll also be able to launch similar apps, as many times as you’d like.

I know, because just using the template I developed, which I provide all the code for in this course, I’ve personally launched over a dozen applications in both the Apple and Google Play Stores.

These apps are not only simple to launch, but when marketed the right way, can even make you some additional passive income. Without much effort you can even get into the thousands of dollars per month.

Does anyone else think these course deals come so often it ends up being spam? Belongs in forums in my opinion.

I like free Udemy courses. Keep them coming please.

I like free stuff too, but have you actually started one?
I did the first segment of an Excel course and it was absolutely terrible — spelling/grammatical errors, weird and confusing questions, rambling lectures (which consisted of the instructor doing a screen recording of him clicking on various Excel buttons). Are the other courses as poor as this one?

        • Quality is variable.

          My experience so far:
I have completed one (reasonable), discarded one (rubbish) and just started a new one, which so far is excellent.

I think it's ok as long as the courses aren't completely new and clearly just here for promotion. They should have a few reviews first. To be honest I like having the free courses as long as they're relatively consolidated.

Agree, the posters are usually first timers, posters turn up later on other Udemy posts as commenters, the whole thing stinks!! This is a concerted campaign by whoever Udemy are to leverage their business through Oz B!!

Why don't you block them , so you don't see them?

    • If you don't want to see Udemy deals hit the Hide from Listing button at the top of this page. You can block any store or user's posts. See more

        Hey Neil,

How can block this from showing up in my RSS feed? See my comment below.

        • You can use Yahoo Pipes to filter out deals from your RSS and a build a feed that suits yourself.

I agree. This belongs in Forum at best, or deleted as spam.

Also, please stop saying things like block them so I don't see them. Blocking does not work with RSS readers.

This is spam / advertising. Nothing else.

Interesting to know (as long as it's free).

LoL Lecture 7.. he had a folder called Gay Porn… other than that seems like an interesting newbies course! thanks!

  • Free udemy courses = miles better than those "discounted" ones popping up in ozB over and over again.
In case of the latter, the poster is almost always the course creator .. now those I would consider spam

    • What's holding you back? I suggest limiting yourself to new courses until you complete some. Virtual stuff adds clutter to your life just like the pile of things in the basement/storage shed. ;)

    Each to their own.

    • So assuming schwinn ends up at the same point as you, in the next 6 registrations he will complete 5 courses.
