FREE iParkedHere and App Making Guide Apps for iOS (Was $1.99 and $4.49 Respectively)

360

I'm the developer of the App Making Guide and iParkedHere apps for iPhone. I thought I'd make them free for a few days for anyone that is interested.

App Making Guide is simply a guide that shows you how I have made 4 top-100 apps. It does not create an app for you and you still need to pay a designer and developer (although they are a lot cheaper than working with a local Company) and I show you how to outsource properly.

iParkedHere remembers where you parked and it has an alarm to tell you when your parking is about to expire. Yes, some people have amazing memories and have no need for it. But people like me (with a terrible memory) find it useful.

If you like either app, please give it a nice rating on the App Store :)

Studying the app maker guide now. It will help me develop my new app called "I left my air guitar here". I am forever losing it

  • If you like either app, please give it a nice rating on the App Store :)

And if we don't like it ?????

So are you a millionaire, due to your earnings from iparkhere app?

    • not quite but it has done nicely relative to most other apps

  • Broken Link now?

Firefox can't find the server at t.dgm-au.com.

  • Does any information go back to your servers?

I doubt many ppl want to put their app ideas at risk of being copied.

    • Good question but they definitely do not get sent to me. The ideas stay within the app only.

  • thanks for making iparkedhere free. i downloaded it before and found it useful, if i remember to use it :p

btw, the app icon is really unattractive (and some will say ugly). and makes it difficult to find on my phone. perhaps you can upgrade that next time?

    • Thanks for your feedback.

  • Dam I paid for that awhile back. But seemed to hard for me. Atm.

      Also thanks for the offer.

  • I just downloaded both, when searching for App Making guide on the app store also found a sex position guide so bonus app downloaded that might get a bit more use than the app making guide :P

    • Ye the sex position guide is probably more 'practical' :P

    • At least having the "sex position guide" you will be able to use the "I parked here" app too :)
maybe even show the "missus" how useful those two apps are….lol

    • Must have done a typo and got baby making app? ;-)

Nice work. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

    • Thanks, no probs :)

  • Just briefly read through appmaking guide. I didn't see anything about code security mentioned. When outsourcing code, how do you check for malicious code ?

    • Good question. If you follow the guide properly, it shows you how to work with a reputable programming that has worked with lots of clients in the past that have been happy with the contractors work. Therefore, there should be little chance of there being any malicious code. If you are worried about it, you could always pay a different developer to check the code but then you'd have the same issue… There's no way around this unless you wanted to learn how to code (which most people don't). Hope this helps!

      • Thanks. Perhaps contracts with local labour have a legal advantage then. Maybe paying someone locally to check code in potentially vulnerable apps after an initial successful takeup is the way to go.
