  • Tenda G1005D 8port Gigabit Switch

I think it is a 5 port switch

    • Hi aacheny,

Sorry, yes you are correct, that was a typo and has just been corrected!

All shipping to WA is $28 fixed. Kills the deal for me.

      Hi Make it so,

Sorry about that, it's a problem we've been looking in to for a while but its hard to find reliable couriers with insurance and tracking that can ship cross country for any cheaper.

      • +2

What's wrong with Australia post for small items? Insurance may be overkill given the low prices on some of your items.
Some other places use Australia Air Express for what looks like low prices (logitechshop ships for free using them, or least least last time I checked)

        • We do offer Australia post on may smaller items such as the USB adapters, SSD's, mice, RAM and categories in general that would fit in a AusPost satchel but unfortunately we haven't had the chance the develop the internal logistics to quote accurate Australia Post costs on larger items.

Its high on the to-do list and we are always exploring alternative postage methods if it means better or cheaper services for our customers. Sorry we couldn't have it in time for this deal but with a bit of luck there will be a solution before the next.

        • Aust post insurance is only $1.50 per $100, plus $2.95 for signature.
plus the freight cost, 3kg satchel is $13.40, 500g is $8.25

i guess the "handling" charge to WA adds the extra cost…. :)

        • Hi Oz-dxer

We do not add any additional handling charges on our shipping costs, they are simply the price it cost us to ship the order, sometimes even lower.

I think you may have missed that the quoted $28 is from Fastway and not Australia Post.

I hate to dissapoint you but a "National 1kg fastway Satchel" is $6.11 inc GST
          A 3kg satchel is $9.49. 5kg Satchel is $11.10
Over 5kg and its $28 to Perth.

You may wish to investigate your shipping options/charges.

          Hi Oz-dxer

We do not at this time use the satchels as Fastway are very particular as to where they can be delivered or not have been unable to provide us with a list of post codes for us to integrate in to our system.

At this point in time (and we know it requires work) we have Fastway Label Parcel Shipping and Australia Post Satchels on selected small items.

We most definitely do not add 'handling' charges or any other excess fee to anything we ship at all.

      • Seriously consider comparing your rates with www.temando.com.au

    • WHoa dont live in the NT.
$57.75fastway for the powerline kit. Geez

  • I would think at least dongles are safe to be posted in a padded envelop, and even click n send should be a cheaper option. Not many people would pay $10.5 postage for a $14 dongle, even it might cost more than $25 before.

    • Hi Milly, as far as I'm aware Australia post satchel shipping is available on those USB adapters. If they are not that's surely an oversight on our part and we will correct it immediately.

  • Hi rep, I'm interested in Tenda W300D ADSL2+ N300 Modem + wireless router. $36 with free shipping is a good deal. But does it have port forwarding for server?

  • Umart is selling Tenda 16TW300D ADSL2+ Wireless N300 Router w 4 Port Switch for $36 + shipping or free in store pickup.
