  • where does it say 20% off guitars? I see:

    blu-ray players
    hd recorders
    set top boxes
    dvd players

  • +4

Also 20% off blu-rays, which usually attracts a bit of attention.

    • +4

Oh I have another one for ya.

20% off Canon printers. Canon have a cashback offer now. It's your post so do what you want with it. http://www.canon.com.au/en-AU/Personal/Products/Special-Offe…

      Example: Canon MX926 is currently advertised at $229. 20% off is $183.20. $50 cashback = total $133.20

      • I ended up pricematching at Officeworks for that latter price. End price was $174.15 (before cashback) haha

    • +2

The currently also have buy 2 get one free on selected TV titles assuming that doesn't end before Wednesday makes it even more attractive :)

      • I used that deal last time and got some good deals like Breaking Bad Seasons on Blu Ray for $13 a piece.

  • Is this the current best price for a vita? anyone know what the trade in price for little big planet would be?

    • I guess it is but it's nowhere as good as the $99 delivered 'deal'.

Not sure about LBP but it's worth is probably much lower now due to this.

      • +2

If people got that deal honored it could be referencable. Since they did not, this deal is decent.

        • These are people.

And like I said before with regards to whether it's the best deal currently:

          I guess it is

    • -2

And is it the 3G model or the WiFi model?

    • Interesting according to Sony website ps vita wifi is now discontinued. But they haven't announced what is "next".

    • PS VITA deal has been extended to Sunday. Still valid and a good deal.

      http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/game/ps-vita/playstation-vita…

  • Is this online also?

    • I think so cause some of the sales excludes Factory Scoop.

    • Right down the bottom of the image it states online and instore.

  • Any guesses as to which version of vita? Wifi or Wifi+3G?

    • +1

Wifi only. JB don't have 3G models.

  • So the Pioneer VSX 522 Receiver will down to $199 after 20% off.

  • +1

Hmmm Canon EOS M twin kit with flash for $550 after TRS very tempting

    • Now I see. Thanks!

    • +1

It's $299USD from Amazon right now. You'll have to drop-ship it though.

      • Link?

      • Please do tell.

  • +1

PS Vita. Desperate times call for desperate prices!
Good thing Sony can hideously overcharge for the memory card (compared to standard formats). Plus they've made the battery not-easily-removable, so when it needs to be replaced…good luck.

    A good deal though.

  • +1

where would be the best place to get a memory card for the vita?

  • +1

So I was looking at JB about a month ago for new audio. Exact item was $378, price is now $498-30% is down to almost the exact price.

Seem they upped their prices before the savings.

    • Was it a sale price a month ago?

      • Nope. No sale price…

  • So those of us with an ing card, what's the best way to pay for a $1000 purchase? Do they allow loading $99 on a bunch of gift cards? Or are the gift cards fixed denomination only?

20% off cameras would be awesome!!

    • +1

You can pay with 11 gift cards if you want. You can split transactions, but 11 times might annoy them so much they'd make up an excuse.

    • This method doesn't work anymore; ING spreads those transactions over the 5% cash back.

I paid $340 over 4 transactions and received only $7 back.

      Here is proof

      • Looks to me that you've been dropped to the 2% cash back but aren't aware of it…

  • Any cheap blu rays? TV series?

    • +2

These where in the B2G1F TV deal last month I assume they still are not sure if they have made any other additions to the list

Big Bang, Chuck, Mad Men, Falling Skies, Weeds, An Idiot Abroad, Life's Too Short, Battlestar Galactica, Sopranos, How to Make it in America, Heroes, Hung, Breaking Bad, Sherlock, Girls, Shameless, Downton Abbey, Justified, Bored to Death, Tudors, V, Entourage, Generation Kill, Torchwood, Magic City,

      • Thanks

  • Nice 2 bluray for $20 - 20% off= $8 each, time to stack up movies again.

    • 2 for 20 has ended

      • Also they have up some blu-ray price

  • Is this any good?

    http://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers/asus/13-inch-touchscreen-…

I'd assume it has a further 15% off tomorrow as well?

  • That sucks, was gonna head down tomoro, besides perhaps getting the walking dead, but seems australia isn't getting a relase for season 3 anytime soon.

  • +1

Wow 15% of Cameras makes the current deal on the Canon 60D even more tempting $749 down to ~$637 with lens. http://www.jbhifi.com.au/photo/digital-cameras/canon/eos-60d…

    • Cheap, good find.

  • Wish they had better deals on blurays like the B1G1F or 2 for $20…

  • Looks like I'll be heading over to JB this afternoon.

  • +3

Just got back from JB Hi-Fi with my new Ps Vita. My local Jb was out of stock by 9:20 however the staff were kind enough to give me the same deal but with Playstation All Stars.

    • +1

      Just grabbed one as well.
Was given the choice 1 of 4 games including LBP, Soul Sacrifice and I didn't look at what the two other games were… Comes up on the receipt as $189 for the console and $10 for the game.

      • I got given a choice of game too, I ended up taking the all stars game. On my invoice the guy did the same thing as your sales rep did @ azz.

  • Saw the last copy of Dark Knight Rise Blu-ray still label $15.98 so got it for $12.78.

Another one label $19.98 and most $23.98, I don't like they mark up the price and give your 20% off.

  • I'm looking for a TV, budget is around $900. This Hisense 50" LED looks ok:

    http://www.jbhifi.com.au/tv-lcd-led-plasma/hisense/50-inch-f…

What do people think? I am more familiar with LG and Samsung, so not sure about the Hisense brand.

    • I wouldn't really bother mate, although it's a tempting price at first Hisense products seem to have issues with longevity and honouring warranty.

    • Last year I reckon Samsung's PS51E550 51" Plasma was the best choice at that price point. Not sure if there's a 2013 model.

      • No not plasma. Only if you don't mind the heat. Lost two plasmas to malfunction at the office within 2 yrs of purchase.

LED is the way to go

        • That's a pretty interesting note - were the TVs the same brand?

  • I picked up a PS Vita at the Broadmeadows JB HiFi. Its was the last one there so I was lucky. However the guy said that if they don't have stock, they will order some more and you still pay the discounted price.

But thanks guys for this deal its pretty good.

  • I ended up caving & bought a ps vita. I got it with Soul Sacrifice instead of LBP & the 8gb ps vita mega pack (card & arcade games) for a total of $242. Pretty good deal.

  • Went in and got the Vita and replaced LBP with Sly Cooper and also got the 8GB Mega Pack, Persona, Jak and Daxter and All stars for $320 all up. Extremely happy with that.

    • Huzzah! Nice effort. I went to EB & picked up P4G for $28, stood there for about twenty mins looking at all stars for $23 pre owned but decided to come back for it another day.

      • all stars is 18$ on playstation store. ps3/vita cross buy.

  • bought a macbook air.. not bad.. though i feel stupid lol
