Hi my house mates are drinking lots of red wine so thought I would be "nice guy house mate" and get them some wine delivered. I am looking for 12 or 16 mixed reds i don't know anything about wine so any help would be great. Also a great deal like $50 off the order deals that i can remember would be good. I live in Perth they usually drink wines in the $15-$20 range.

Understood just trying to give a bit of background of what my house mates usually drink. Please point me in the direction of $3 wine ideally not clean skins so we could get it again if they like it.
I agree that the difference between a good $15-20 bottle and a good $50 bottle can be subtle at best.
But I cannot recommend anything that costs $3 - headache city.

There is no evidence to suggest that expensive wine tastes better. $15 a bottle is $12 wasted. There is evidence that the expectation of a good tasting wine, i.e. expensive wine, increases enjoyment. Best solution would be to stick a fancy label on the cheapest wine you can find.
