Lots of places close down, and have shit sales. Can someone give us an idea of a bargain? Upto 70% means a waste of time.

    • Agree … Hopefully a local can provide an update if its worth the drive

      • I live in Noble Park, I'd consider going down after dinner but their hours are no longer on the HN website.

        • That may be correct? But as the store is 'closing' maybe there are different hours?

    • True.
Something I found as bargain was a JBL system for $340 (ticket price was $799)
      Class 10 4Gb SD card for $6
Kenwood stick mixer for $97 down from $149

If you are living down there may be worth the while.

      • Laptops, tv? Fridges?

        • Laptops,Fridges yes.
TVs there were only couple. Most taken.
It is a big store, but heard sales are really bad lately.
          Furniture, carpets, beds, etc.

the same stick mixer on sale on Target 2 months ago only $49.83, and it was nation wide

  • It was 6-8 last night. Not sure about the timing today.

Another one bites the dust. Better buy some put options on Harvey Norman.

  • Not really cheap. Was open to public even on Sunday, yes ppl bought stuffs like a crazy not realizing that many deals out there with other vendors. Most of them are just 20% or 30% from rrp. Eg seagate 4TB HDD $219. 8G flash $6..

  • any one knows HN Cranbourne address?

    • South gippsland freeway, behind hungry jacks at the home maker center.

  • There were quite a few good deals there depending what you're after! And how quick you got in!
As an idea the Galaxy 4 was selling new for $700 (not grey import, with Oz warranty). And had you got there earlier, the shop model was only $480! Not to mention the abundance of white goods and accessories!
Probably a bit late now though!

  • where will the Cranny bogans get their baby bonus LCDs from?
