MyDosR HD is a new iPad app which takes a totally new approach to medication management. While it does remind the user to take meds, it does so through the mechanism of a unique dashboard which, at a glance, displays
- Any medication doses which are overdue
- The next dose of every medication
- The next date when the supply of a medication has to be renewed
- The next date when a prescription needs to be replaced, and the doctor who needs to be contacted for the renewal
Naturally, MyDosR HD keeps a log of doses taken or administered and this history can be reviewed on screen, or emailed to a doctor or specialist.
And, individual Dashboards for medications, prescriptions and doctors show the full upcoming events. This makes it easy to see at a glance, for example, what scripts will need to be filled before you leave on a month's holiday.
We have put a lot of thought into the user interface to try to make it "real life friendly" instead of the "programmer friendly" nature of most applications. For example, in the real world you will be interrupted while adding a new medication to your list. Most apps will force you to cancel the entry process and start all over again when the interruption has been dealt with. Not MyDosR HD. We just remember where you are up to and allow you to resume where you left off. MyDosR HD also takes a relaxed approach to data storage. Cannot remember who prescribed a medication? Just tap Skip, you can add the info at any time.
NOTE: MyDosR HD will be "on sale" for FREE from till July 15. Additionally this is our very first app that our team made so it may seem rough in some parts but hopefully with a lots of love and support we can grow this concept, because my dream is to create something use and meaningful that support family.
MyDosR HD is available for the iPad in the App Store for $2.99, it will be FREE till July 15 so get it quickly.
Thanks. I'm a holy horror for forgetting meds, either the timing, or taking at all, and now I'm on insulin I just better not forget at all! Hope this one helps.
