They have for quite awhile, it is the publishers, not GMG who decide that.
However, GMG 'fought' back by giving a voucher, shown above, that will take 30% off the price of ANZ gouged games, making the difference minimal.

I was going to, then I noticed I had $12 credit with GMG. So ~$16 Bioshock. Even if it comes on sale with Steam in the coming days I'd be splitting hairs at that price :D
And watching the Aussies bat how the Aussies bat, it was a bit of retail therapy, lol.
Because it is priced at $80 in the Aussie Steam store, it would have to be at least 66% off to get it cheaper. Personally I see it going to 50% off, but you never really know with these things.
