It may help to give an idea of what someone could expect in a spottybox. Just seeing 4-6 treats, toys and so on gives me no idea what I might get.

Are we talking 1 treat is a smacko? A bone? A pig ear? Are the toys a dodgy rope, tennis ball or a kong?

Without having any idea what I'm getting for my money I'm fairly confident that I could easily pickup these things cheaper at my local overpriced pet shop and I could even pick them.
For better value I could go when items are on sale.

Also your mobile site isn't up to scratch, I can't even go to a standard view which may contain some of the info I'm after (I have no idea) but as the customer I shouldn't have to jump to a computer just to try and see what your selling.

  • If it's all the same price why would anyone get the small pack?

    • It's the size of your dog that you choose :)

      • Logic is that one would expect more bags of treats for the big category than the small one. If you own a mini pomerian, you'd subscribe to the big one aswell since the treats would last longer.

        • yeah, could spoil the a small dog silly with the big size

        • Small dogs cant fit big bones (or big biscuits or big toys) in their mouth to eat them so its not always going to be good to do that.

        • just break those big biscuits apart

Would help to know what you are getting

  • I should neg because the rep has failed to disclose that you must tweet or post on facebook to get the $10 discount. Also, the product details are light on.

There needs to be more details on what's included in the package.

My dog doesn't need a new toy every month, he sticks to the one he loves.
If toys don't come in every month. Why bother with the "small" category when you'd get more treats from the "big" category? Surely you don't expect a fully grown great dane to eat as much treats as a chihuahua?

Deal seems more risky than convenient.

Treats are not meal replacements. I would not feed my dog a quantity of treats according to his size. I would give him one, and only as a treat.
I'm fairly certain the treats component would stay the same between each one, the only thing that would change would be the toys (which are often sold according to size)

    Wow.. $468 (-$10) per year..

What sort of quality are the toys? My boxer pup has yet to find a durable toy ;) The only picture of what you'd get is a blurred background image..

    • Have you tried tuffy toys? kong toys? or staffy balls?

Nothing is indestructable but its I find those good for the natural born toy chewer upperers

      What are you favorites

Just note thought, if enough people post negative or common sense comments then these guys will sock puppet with new users, statements and questions including but not limited to:

      • Why does a dog need 2 toys a month and 4 different treats when you can buy a pack of treats from the shops for less than $10 and dog behaviourists recommend half a dozen toys for a dog.

      • Good quality toys don't wear out, why do you need to constantly buy more.

      And my personal favourite.

      • What do you get?
