This is a pretty good deal. The great thing about skateboards is you can cheaply mod it to suit you - start with something cheap but well built like this, and change bushings and bearings to change the entire feel.

This is a cruiser board so it's not really designed to do tricks on.

Skateshop seems to be a 'deals' site, and they only really have one item on sale at a time: I'm not sure what that means for support.

I have bought two boards from kickpush with no hassles, and they have similar boards (other brands) starting at $65 delivered -> http://www.kickpush.com.au/cruiser-skateboards/?sort=priceas…

One of the best deals (IMO) is 2011 model Penny Nickels for $99 - I started with a wooden cruiser and now I'm hooked on plastics.

    • I also had a look at some older bargains that are still active e.g. City Beach have Stereo Vinyl cruisers from $49 and some other cheapies -> http://www.citybeach.com.au/en/sale/mens-sale/hardware/?srt=…

Beware the cheap plastics with a single bolt that connects the truck and deck. The Vinyl is probably the cheapest option worth looking at here, and the Globe Bantam for $79 is their best deal.

Note all the boards I mentioned in this comment are mini cruisers, and smaller than the cruisers in the deal and my other comment.
