Spotted this while looking for a skateboard for my kid, thought it might be a pricing error but ordered anyway. That was 2 days back, currently shown as shipped and halfway to me already.
btw I have no idea if this is any good.

  • $20 RRP by the looks. still a good deal at $5

    • The delivery cost to Melbourne, is $20. Not worth it.

    • says the RRP is $118

Suspect that's whether the error is, RRP should only be $11.80 by the look of it lol

From my experience, it's worth paying extra to get a real Penny board.

Unless it's just a throwaway stocking filler that you don't expect your kid to use for more than a couple of days, then this is a good deal.

Please don't buy trash you don't expect to use, there's enough waste in the world.

        100% agreed.

I think we actually need to start monitoring large corporations (Kmart etc) who sell rubbish that breaks after one use and fine them for importing waste.

        • I like the idea of making companies responsible for whole of life costs of items, recycling/disposal etc. make a financial incentive for them to make quality stuff that people don't want to get rid of.

  • These look like a rip off of penny boards which is just a modern interpretation of 70s skateboards. They are really small and difficult to ride (but I'm an adult).

    • i know a few grownass adults who use pennies for th daily commute

      • They must have smaller feet and better balance than me.

        • they’re short commutes but one fella’s 6’3”!

i think if y have a loose sloppy style and you’re not going far it can do the job

            @0jay:

            a loose sloppy style

My wife says I have this but still does the job.

        • I'm 6' and can still ride my Penny when I feel like it.

It's all about bending the knees and leaning into it, like a lot of things.

I mean, plenty of people balance on a Slackline 🤷

Shipping isn't combined. Each board adds $20 shipping
