Was browsing for a good set of headphones under $200. This model seems like the best you can get for the price. Even cheaper than Amazon. It is a newer 2013 release. Thought I might add it here after doing my hours of Googling.

  I ordered a similar pair from a similar website, went back to my original pair of headphones. Old pair is AD-700's from a local store in Perth, while the pair of ATH-900x's I bought online feel cheap and tacky.

    I'm getting the AD700 from eGlobal. I sure hope it isn't fake fingers crossed

    I do agree, the new AD900x build quality is inferior to the old AD700 for sure (and probably the AD900 too). I own both the AD900x and AD700, with the latter more solid. The audio, however, is still as good as ever, so I just see this as being a more affordable version of the usually $300 AD900.
