Dick Smiths have some great 40% off deals currently, but one I found of particular interest is their HD Skype Camera. This basically allows you to make Skype calls using your TV using your wifi network. I've been looking at buying one of these for a while and the cheapest price I've seen previously was around $180 inc shipping. The RRP is $199.

    Or I could make Skype calls on my PC with a $15 HD camera… Or I could make real VOIP calls using MNF for free.

      Thanks for the info bazzaa. I'm sure people will be thrilled to know that it's possible to make Skype calls using a PC.
      I think you may be missing the point of the product. Its target audience are the less tech savvy. This will be ideal for my mother to use to be able to speak to her Grandkids.

    Hmmm… might be good for the wife to chat for her in-laws overseas. They're not very computer-savvy and their computer isn't near their living room, so this might make it easier to keep in touch.
