I saw this when I went to Dick Smith's website for something else. No a bad price with free delivery.
I was impatient and bargained with OfficeWorks to match the price. They originally had them at $79 but will match this price.

No probs.
However, based on your comment about 'mixed reviews', anyone expecting mind-blowing hi-fidelity and/or bass from bluetooth is setting themselves up for disappointment, but they are good for preventing yourself from getting tangled up in cables while at the gym.
Yea, I don't expect anything amazing from them, but I'd think that it has the potential to be decent at least. I hope to pick one up this afternoon.
Tempted but decided against after reading this http://www.cnet.com.au/plantronics-backbeat-go-339340927.htm
good price nevertheless.A better long-term investment is headset supporting Apt-X.
Yeah, having the apt-x codec would be good, but I can't imagine you'd get it at this price. I'm happy to be corrected on this point. ;-)
I hope you are corrected too. I have my wallet on standby.
purchased one a few weeks earlier from OW for $75 (wish i had waited) after extensive research, they are pretty good for the price, easy to fit into ear with no cumbersome wires dangling around and sync's with my galaxy note 2 perfectly. Top of the line ones like Jaybirds and monster beats are just too damn expensive (hundreds of dollars).
I use these for the gym and for running - would highly recommend at this price!
They are not noise cancelling (i think for safety reasons) and the bass is not too bad, love the natural vocal tones, and you can take / make phone calls. How's the quality of the mic for calls Blue?
not bad, though generally it is a little harder for the caller to hear you with the music blazing in the gym
Thx for that.
I'll be using these for the gym (partly to block out the crap they play). So you haven't had any problems with them while working out? Having them exposed to sweat? Falling out of your ear(s)?
They fit really well in your ears - I hated using the 'over-ear' headsets (i believe the higher model of plantronics backbeat does this) as they didn't feel secure. I run around for about an hour with these and no problems with them falling out - they come with a few sized ear pieces to try match your ear size. In terms of sweat…haven't noticed any drop in connectivity and i don't think sweat affects it much as the mechanism sits in your ear, not around the lobe.
Your posts have finally convinced me after deciding whether it was worth risking the purchase. Much appreciated.
Additional to Bluechilli's comments, the packaging (partly) answered my question.
"Sweat proof technology by P2i" <— on the packaging.
Anyone used this for exercising, how is the fit and comfort?
Edit: Nevermind, just read bluechilli's comment which helped. Any other feedback would be great at this point.
Just bought them in Sydney CBD. Last one on the shelf so phone ahead if you are thinking of paying them a visit.
Incidentally they were still marked at $120 on the shelf.
Relating to availability (if you're in Canberra)…
None in Belconnen Office Works, but Fyshwick has 1 black and 2 white pairs left as of 4pm, 5th July.
…a quick update…
I just went out to Office Works who said they'd match the price.
I forgot about their "we'll beat it by 5%" price guarantee. Fortunately they didn't.
The purchase price was $56.43.They're charging up now. 2.5hrs for full charge, then I'll give them a run.
Same and I even got a white version, looks good ~~
Thanks OP, got a JB price match today.
Wow, I have been waiting for this deal for a while. Mixed reviews where some would say it has excellent quality and great bass. Others mentioned that the music quality is lower than average. But for this price, I am definitely going for it! I will attempt the price matching too! Thank you very much for this find OP.
