I get 8 full prawns, one per slice. That's the amount Dominos is suppose to put on.
Well not the store at Warners Bay in Newcastle NSW… torn prawns is all ya get….. NO PRAWNS FOR YOU!!!
You're getting ripped off, but it is not unusual with prawns.
After a discussion last week with the head office run Facebook page, I was told that prawns were now supposed to be a total, not per weight like they were last year when i enquired.
I got one per slice tonight (which was supposedly double prawns). Let the Facebook team know. They will let the store know they are doing wrong.
Don't bother to ask for a callback though, because they just pass it down the manager, who was rude as buggery to me last time.
YMMV. Last time I got 4, but on a more recent order I got 8, one on each slice…
Damnit Dominos. My weekly pizza was last night. I could have saved $1.02 and not had to rush for the 7pm cut off.
so half price is how much?
$5.98 for traditional
Chef's Chicken & Camembert $5.48
(Fairy Meadow, NSW)
Dinner sorted. Thank you. Can't say no to two pizzas for under $12. :D
6.40 traditional
6 for chefs best (Sydney)Guess it's store dependent and not state dependent because I'm getting $5.98 for traditional, $4.98 do value and $5.48 for chef.
$4.98 Chef's Best
$5.48 Traditional
(Preston, VIC)Chef's best is cheaper than traditional?!
It's a game-changer…
I think the prices should be the other way around.
The prices I put were correct.
Chef's best is normally $9.95 at my local store.
Another day, another Domino's OB deal.
Can't stand their stuff frankly, and they keep getting pinged by the food safety authoritiesfor being filthy.
Thanks anyway OP.
The rare times I've gone into a store, you can literally see that everything has a film of filth on it. Not to mention the staff who look like they haven't showered or washed their clothing for a week.
Well I just doninos last week, is it just me or domino has less flavour in there pizza compared to Pizza Hut?
Am I the only one notice that, they do this Half Price promotion every Thursday? :D
Last time I got Domino's I didn't notice I was eating the box instead of the pizza.
Cardboard box? More like a pair of shoes.
I guess you need to use hefty promotions when:
- You introduce a new 'premium' range of pizzas that really just give everyone diarrhea
- You shrink the size of normal and traditional pizza bases by 20 - 25%
- You reduce the amount of sauce on pizzas to almost nothing
- You have staff that have no idea how to separate ingredients when making the pizza, so you get huge clumps of sundried tomato, olives etc on 2 pieces of pizza and none on the rest.
- You remove favourites like 'Spicy Island' from the menu and give us MORE processed-meat-friggin-lovers
WAKE UP DOMINOS! I used the think your pizzas were the best. NOT anymore.
No wonder the share price fell like the bowels of a Chef's Best eater.
Tell us how you really feel, giggles!
Just to defend the share price:

The current price ($11) is certainly down on it's 12 month high in May of $13.99, but it is still above it's price 12 months ago of $10.28. Not to mention they do pay 2.6% dividends :P
Do they pay the dividends with diarrhea?
And no, that's not the currency of Diablo.
Can't see dividends from that Yahoo chart, but I'll assume you are correct. They are trading at a very high P/E ratio though. Surely now we would nearly be a saturation point for pizza outlets I don't understand why.
Maybe near saturation point in some areas, but in my area, most other pizza places are considerably more expensive. My nearest Pizza Hut and Domino's closed down some time ago, and now there isn't a Pizza Hut that will deliver.
- Never had that problem. First I've heard of it. They're not very good value, but I find them quite tasty.
- Compared to when? I haven't noticed that much change.
- Haven't noticed that.
- Never had that problem. Probably depends on your particular store.
- Never tried Spicy Island. I'm not keen on spicy food.
Yeah, I noticed they have gotten real skimpy on the sauce (some of the time I just bite into sauceless, crust with a bit of shredded beef). I understand there are obvious economic reasons in cutting back usage of ingredients, but the sauce is really noticeable. Was there a directive? Did they somehow make the bottles squirt less sauce per pump? It really is disappointing. I would ask to make sure there is extra sauce but then I would feel like a wank and run the risk of a spitball. First world problems, I know. Way to treat customers though…
TODAY ONLY
you can make the order now and have it made by Wednesday the 24th July at the latest
you would think they forgot about that, i put saturday and the voucher says expired :p
Seeing as I signed up to eClub deals, I literally have a voucher every day for either $7 or $8 traditional pizzas. At that price can't complain. How much meat do you expect for that?
i can't believe they took out roast duck and blue cheese
had them twice only D:
Hey, i think that's what i got about 3 months ago when i tried them out.
Tasted like pigs vomit - had to ditch it.
The horror…
I think I'd only pay half price for their pizzas now days - hence I have purchased 3 for about $13… lots of leftovers tomorrow mm
When do you see the discount? Just before confirming? It says voucher expired.
Anyone else noticed when you order prawns they are just torn in 1/2 not full prawns? and about 6 torn pieces per pizza… or am i being ripped off?
