MASTERS HARDWARE ON LINE ORDERING

Just thought I would relay what has been a completely miserable experience with this mob. Put through an order for around $1500 on the 21st of June. On the same date put through an order for $175. In respect of the first order I rang them this afternoon and asked how it was progressing ( I have been away ). They advised that before they could process it they required a 100 points of ID, to which I responded " are you a bank ? ". They also apologised for not having let me know that fact, I.e. They meant to send an email. With respect to the other smaller order, the store rang today and said although I have paid for it , is cancelled as they cannot get the stock. They did apologise for not telling me earlier. As far as I am concerned this is absolute crap service and it is no wonder that these stores battle to keep customers. They are the very same stores that are fighting to have the GST limit reduced. I am all for shopping in country but when this happens I loose interest. Many of you will have had positive experiences with them but for me this was enough to put me off them for life. I guess it's back to Bunnings!
