Normally $200 or more. Cheapest price I've seen in Australia though I have bought this in Japan for about $150.

Mine is $11.50 (Sydney)
though I have bought this in Japan for about $150.
Thanks for asking me!
Seems like a lot. Could by a tablet capable of HD skype video calls with HDMI connectivity for this much.
good thinking 99. Not sure how it would compare quality wise though. Check out reviews.
I have been looking into this for a SKYPE option for the great-grandparents who live out of state to keep up with the grandkiddies.
I would think the optics/camera are better on this than on a tablet. Also should be relatively simple to use.Downsides are need to setup a separate internet connection (which they dont have currently). A tablet (like nexus 7) could have 3G internal so just need a data SIM (telstra hurry up with your data cap sharing across SIMs….and don't make it ridiculously priced!).
Tablet would be portable whereas with the logitech it is not obviously.
TV screen would be better than the small tablet screen though for their eyesight. (Nexus 7 has no HDMI output - maybe some other table? hisense sero 7 pro better camera and less $$ but no 3G option)Haven't decided which way to go on it yet. This is a good price regardless.
On the flipside, the quality if the picture you receive is only going to be as good as the camera and internet connection of your skype buddy. A bad picture on a 7-10" screen is normally acceptable. Blow that bad picture up on your 46" LCD and it gets terrible.
2nd consideration (in my weekly use of skype) - small kids like to be up close and personal with the screen when using skype. They go right up to the screen. If the camera is on top of the screen then it goes over their heads. If the camera is below the screen then it hits their t-shirt, armpit, an empty room behind them.
With the tablet, the kids sit on the sofa, hold the tablet and talk to the grandparents. Works well.Of course at the other end… if you can tech-train your parents, they are probably capable of sitting still on the sofa for the length of the call!
$160 is a lot of money for something that's purely for skype. If the screensize is the issue, a better investment for them would be an entry level laptop with a 15" screen. Set it up for them with the big easy icons (skype, internet, email), and applications set start when the machine is turned on. They don't know enough about computers to break it, but might appreciate access to the internet.

should probably add ~$9 for delivery.
