oh yeah I purchased this awile ago when it was on sale cool rope app hope to get some use for it when I need to tie some things to the car but other than checking the app out haven't used it too much looks nice though.

    • I wish the app taught you to use punctuation to tie your words into sentences properly.

      • +1

Me too. I have an unnecessary need to capitalize random words in sentences and I have no idea why as well. Sorry about that :/ I'll try and proof read more often and delay my speed posting.

Also you missed the "taut" pun option.

cant wait to try this on the missus

    • +12

Missus? Doesn't that usually mean you've already tied the knot?

      • I know more knots now. in case she change her mind

  • Looks useful

  • Anyone else getting "invalid package file"?

    • +1

      Yes, redownload and worked fine

      • Uninstall and redownload

  • Maybe helpful for my fishing trips :)

I don't think you need to put in the "appoftheday" code as mentioned by the OP. There is no place to put any codes.

    Can anyone help?

    • +1

      just retry?

      • :(

        • Im sorry did it still not work?
Here I found this info out

"There are a few reasons you may be getting a "Download unsuccessful" error for only one app (or for a few select apps):
If the app in question is a paid app, sign in to wallet.google.com/manage to confirm that the purchase was successful.
Check the size of the app - if it's larger than 25M, it may be too large for your device's cache partition. Even if you have enough space free on your device, the cache partition may be preventing you from downloading large apps.
Ensure that after downloading the app, you'll have at least 20M of internal storage space free. If not, you may need to uninstall apps to free up space.
          "

so clear out some of the apps on your internal memory to free up at least 20mb by deleting or moving apps to your sd card.

        • Still getting the same error.

I am using an HTC Desire Bravo Android 4.2, maybe because it's too old?

        • try clearing your google play apps Cache
(you'll need to sign in again after doing this)

if that doesn't work Take a look at this app
          https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tk.rede.cacheF…
seems to have lots of good and bad reviews take from that what you will
and proceed if you wish. Make a Nandroid backup first? (assuming you know how to do this since you've rooted installed custom rom on your device)

        • Although it still does not work, but I am really grateful that you've taken so much time to write solutions in details, really appreciate it, thanks! :)

        • no problem sorry it didn't work out for you.

Is this useful to me. I am 'a frayed' knot. Thanks to the OP thou :-)

  • i am bad with knots , i am knot a KNOTMAN

  • Thanks for the useful post.

  • No love here either. I've even tried installing the app of the day app and accessing the google play link through the app, but it still comes up as "invalid package file" :/

    • just try redownloading it this issue occurs with me all the time I think think it just means the file you downloaded was a little bit corrupt and you just need to redownload it.

  • If you can't tie knots, tie lots.

    AWESOMEEEEEEE!

I stumbled upon this solution and it works!

    • are you downloading this through your Mobile data? if so that might help but if your just doing it through wifi it shouldn't make a difference. also hope you have a good data plan 26 MB's DX

      • Yeah I was trying to dl via 3g. All good now!
