The old classic is on sale for $1.40, apparently 50% off. I think it's cheaper in the American one ($0.99, but I don't know how to buy from there). Still, if you are after a hit of nostalgia, this should do it for you.

You couldn't save in this game. It would give you codes as you progressed through the game.
Also, if you already have the Amiga version, run it in the Omega 500 emulator on Android - it has great controls. Seems like there's complaints about the control system in the comments about this port.
Controls are a bit difficult - getting him to run by double tapping is a bit hit and miss. But this game is supposed to be challenging I guess!
I haven't heard of Omega, last time I tried some nostalgia gaming I was using mame and UAE, the controls on UAE really sucked, so I stuck to using mame

Still if there was a WP8 version I would grab it.. I have finally got board with Civ..wheres the remake!

The sequel was 'Flashback' from memory… was some more serious time wasted for me. Wasn't really a true sequel or tie in, just the next of this type of platformer to be released with some new features/abilities
I had a dodgy copy of this back in the days of the Amiga that didn't allow you to save. Wasted some serious time playing this game as such…
