How do I get Windows 2010 Microsoft Office suite?

Hi all, I have a quick question I only have microsoft 2007 I am requiring 2010 micro office. Has anyone got any (cheap) ideas Please. Regards, Mel.

    well i just got it from the searching the net and was able to d-load the 586mb program. only prob i have is activating it. anyone know ?

    If you're a university student or staff, you are eligble for the 4 year ($99) Office 2013 / Office 365 subscription.

    If you can't afford MS Office, then grab LibreOffice or Kingsoft's Officesuite free. Either method, they support MS Office 2010 formats (to a degree — I can't comment on how accurately they render documents).

      That is actually a good question. I have not seen a thorough comparison as to up to what degree exactly does the compatibility work. Can I "break" a file by saving it in Open Office or one of the other suites, so that it won't be usable in MS Office anymore?

        Generally the worst that happens is some of the formatting doesn't quite line up. Note that you have the same problem using different versions of Microsoft Office.

    How about other options, such as Open Office, Kingsoft Office? Maybe 60% ~ 80% of M$ Office's functionality but free. You can download the free Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint Viewer to see if the documents are compatible.

    free , personally i think it better then open office . if you look up the history it made from the same ppl that left Open office

    i haven had a single problem with functionality. i would say it closer 99% and i just haven't found 1% yet

    there is a 2010 theme you can install over the top

    chatter box - whisper are that large firm install it so they don't have to re train their staff . Small shonky computer shop charge there client for 2010 but install the free coyp ( similar how they use to pirate software but charge client full price )
