  If you have a snap dragon processor they have a free app to extend battery life:

  It monitors you usage for a few days then does stuff. Magic battery saving stuff.

  I've only had it for a few days so don't know if it works that well but its 1 pm, my htc one hasn't been juiced up since 8:30 am and its sitting at 91% with moderate use.

  i've been using the free version for a few months now. I like that it switches off wifi when screen is off. there probably is another way, but this does the job fine.

      My philosophy is my emails and apps are ready when I'm ready. Or else I'll be hanging on my phone all day.

  Sounds like a great APP (hehe … after my battery gave up on me a few times already with the phone just sitting around but trying to connect to WIFI constantly … ).

  One question: There is a FREE APP, a PRO APP and then this SPECIAL APP. Why do they release a Special APP (which is identical to the PRO APP at the moment. Does this mean they want to add Adverts in the future to this app … or add new features only to the paid pro app and not the special pro app. In some way I do not like this behaviour and it clutters the store even more.

    I don't think so. Usually you need to download free app and enter the code and that feature is not in this free app may me that is the reason.

    It's a form of advertising. Sales had probably reduced to a trickle, so they give it away free for a short time, losing only a few days of income, but getting their app "out there" in a big way. They hope that recommendations will increase the sales after the free period ends.
