Hello All,
I'm building a new desktop, and find this in my mail box today:
SanDisk Ultra Plus 2.5" 256GB for $166.95
http://www.iibuy.com.au/sandisk-ultra-plus-256gb-sata-iii-ml…
Does this one have a good performance? It seems too cheap.
Thanks

Here are some benchmarks

Overall it's not bad. Not the fastest SSD around, but still several times faster than a regular HDD.
Thanks both, I may wait for the Samsung 840 pro then, seems the performance is better.
No doubt the 840 Pro is better, but you pay a lot more for it.
Unless you're looking at benches there's no real need for the Pro. The regular Samsung 840 is plenty fast.
Nope. Barely better than the 830. The Pro has vastly better all important write speeds.
What? The 840 is worse than the 830. The point is that it is still perfectly good.
The ultra plus is sandisk's cheap model, perfectly good but easily out performed by the Extreme if it matters to you. The price is good.
