Typically 80c from Coles from memory, so pretty good deal if you're a fan. Granted they taste like dish detergent.

      Dish Detergent!?

Chomps are one of the best!

    • +4

How can they taste like dish detergent?

BTW, I haven't tried dish detergent yet:)

    • +6

What brand detergent do you use? I gotta eat me some of that!

    • +2

Do finish powerballs do the same job? They are cheaper per unit.

    56c per Chomp bar.

They're 50c each (4 for $2) at Woolworths this week.

    No deal for mine.

Who the hell negged this comment? Supposedly, you can buy 4 at Woolies for a cheaper price than this deal… Is Risty wrong???

      • Also the chomps in this deal have a best before in August.

    • also similar price at costco

    • +2

Yep. And that's a semi-regular special at woolies. Certainly, every couple of months. Similarly, for curly wurlies. And often, both varieties are included in the "Any four of ….." style specials.

Mind you, i guess with the scoopon you could get the novelty of having a kitchen counter that looked like a confectionary aisle - would be kind of fun for parties and such.

Disclaimer: I work for Woolworths (but am not at all concerned about their sales/profits).

47c at Big W. everyday price as well

  • No unit price listed = clearly in impulse territory, let's see…

    Curly Wurly 48 x 26g = 1.248kg for $25, or $20.03/kg.
    Chomp 50 x 30g = 1.5kg for $28, or $18.67/kg.

You're paying a bit of a premium for a fancy box.

Target had Chomps for 36c today.

  • Coles often have them on special for 50c or on special at other times 4 for $2. So I dont think this is bad but still wouldn't buy a whole box. Whats the use by?

  • +3

no deal if they are cheaper in supermarket.

  • Strange how these deals do the rounds of the "discount" sites, these were on COTD just last week and now on Scoopon., check Grocerry Run next week if you miss out here :)

  • As previously mentioned, Chomps and Curly Wurlys are 4 for $2 (0.50ea) at Woolworths this week

    No deal here

  • Nice try but no deal to me, will head to woolies or big w like the others suggested. why not just buy the whole box at woolies and take the box to the register too? I'll try.

  • I hate curly wurlys, they get too stuck in your teeth.
