    I miss the times when Jims Jerky had little stands at westfield Garden city and Carindale (Brisbane) where jerky/biltong would be sliced on the spot. Nice little novelty.

    love these things….but why are they so expensive? Or are they always priced like this?

      Probably because meat is like 70% water. If you remove most of it will loose about 3/4 its weight. So it would cost 4X as much excluding production cost.

        Actually, you typically lose about 50% unless you dry it to a crisp. Biltong/jerky is dead easy to make and will cost around $25-30/kg vs $70-90/kg you pay at most shops. Not for everyone but you can save a lot

    I love Jim's Jerky, please open a store at either Westfield Garden city or Carindale (Brisbane), so i don't have to travel to Chermside to order.

    Yeah - nice idea but that's a heck of a lot of jerky to qualify for the deal…
