Haha, it's been a while but I think it's a bug that every step you take makes the game say 'new record'. See here.
I played this with a bunch of totally not sexually frustrated guy friends and the cutscenes were not awkward at all.
One particularly memorable moment was when you get the text from Catherine in the bar with a lewd pic and the game tells you something along the lines of "you can't view this here in public". So one of my mate shouted out "GO TO THE BATHROOM GO TO THE BATHROOM!!!!"
In all seriousness though it was a fun game and we changed player every time we died and all had fun (we died a lot).
