I have had a set of these for over a year now. They are very comfortable and durable with an almost unbreakable headband. They look cool and sound was good but for around the $80 to $120 price that they use to be, but very good sound for this clearance price of $35. Would definitely recommend these for the sporty active types, or even people wearing headphones for extended periods. They have above average bass, without being too boomy.

    • Thanks for the review :)

The Stretch were the worst headphones I've owned. Seriously.
No bass, muffled, very rolled off hi's.

They have very nice pads, I stole them for another set of cans.

If you want decent headphones for around $60, try the Panasonic RP-HTF600 if you don't need full-isolation or split a pair of Creative Aurvana Live headphones for $120 ($60 each delivered)from the Creative AU website.

Other good options include Philips Uptowns, but they need a re-cable as the volume control can affect the balance.

      • Bought The Snug headphones - they sound terrible. Tried different equaliser settings on my stereo but unable to improve the sounds of the headphones. Sounds very flat, no bass, no treble, muffled. Very surprised at the poor quality. Still selling for about $33 on Statice.

    • I bought a par of The Stretch for my girlfriend a while back and they've been pretty good. Decent bass and comfortable sound. Nothing stellar but a great deal at this price. She throws them in a messenger bag and they've lasted really well at the bottom of the bag.

      • One note. I wouldn't buy them for really big heads. My head is normally the last notch or 2 on an adjustable cap, or bigger than most snowboarding helmets, and they JUST fit. But for small to large heads they're fine. Just not XL heads.

  • Probably worth mentioning postage costs $9.95. OP, did you buy the Stretch or Snug in store? (only because Stretch says online only on their site)

I believe I've mentioned that I purchased them in-store (Nunawading) and there were around 10 available….

Also it is not online only, just not available for Click and Collect.

The snug is horrible, sell it for 5 bucks immediately :(

  • Now $21 for the O'Neil.

    • My god, the O'Neil stretch sound horrible too! Plenty of bass but in terms of clarity my Datsun 120Y with stock speakers sounded better…
