      It depends - $48 delivered works out cheaper than if you're miles away from your nearest Masters.

    My father passed his one down to me. He had it for ~20 years. Back then, it was made in Australia though. It works as it used to but it is quite loud. The one I have comes with a carpet cleaner/shampoo attachment too.

      no comparison, except this can take care of wet and is less power.
      On top all of this - this price is only 20 % of most Dyson vacuum cleaners - imo

      Yes, the carpet will be a bit damp like a sponge after you hand-rinsed it. But 2 hours later it should be fine and dry to walk on.
