Think I have posted comments about Dark Souls previously here. The game is bad, very bad. Probably one of the worst consoles ports I have played on PC. Game is full of bugs and the graphics are rubbish. Highly recommend not wasting your money on it.

This. DSfix if you ever reconsider your time with the game, enables 60FPS among a handful of other options.
I certainly did give the fan mods a go and the game was still terrible. The effort you have to go to just to get the FPS uncapped from 30 was painful. Trying to get the graphics to look better even more so. It's not something you should have to do for a recently released game.
No, you're right there. You shouldn't have to for a newly released game. But the fact that they even ported it to PC makes me grateful. They're taking the PC into more consideration during the development of II, so keep an eye out on that during March next year.
It's not a bad game. Once you patch it with the 60 fps mod the game is very playable.

There was a legitimate reason for it being a direct console port. The developers said they would only port the game because they didn't have the technical know-how on optimising the game for PC hardware.
Saying "we're poor at it" would be an excuse for every bad port that's ever been released. It might be a legit excuse, but it isn't a good one.
This game has huge issues on dual screens computers you have to disable one to play it properly or you can click outside the playing area.
