It's universal as per itsfree's screenshot? And it's the only UX Write that shows up as an iPad app for me on the appstore (Australia)

      • On my iPad - going through the app store its still $25.99 :S

        • Thanks for the screen shot, I don't know why that is happening..as I got it free on another iPad only an hour ago. I'm very sorry and I'm using the australian appstore too.
I don't have any more devices to test it on.

      • It's a universal app.

come on OP, explain yourself! :)

  • Okay, I'll pull the listing down, sorry for the confusion - I thought I had got everyone a great deal.

    • I guess you got the info from :
      http://ipadnotebook.wordpress.com/2013/06/04/ux-write-ipad-w…

"The developer states: “*** Special offer: Since there are multiple “developers” currently selling pirated copies of UX Write on the app store, we’ve decided to undercut them and run a five-day special where you can get the app for free. Normally $24.99, you can now get the genuine version of UX Write for even less than the bootleg copies! Offer ends 10th June. ***”

    • "I thought I had got everyone a great deal."

It should be according to that link. Did you actually see it in itunes at $0?

Hmmm, AppShopper shows it down to $0 but it is $25.99 if you follow the AppShopper link. Something wrong here.

I am still sorry about this deal not appearing the way I expected it to…I was so happy to find a great deal I rushed home to my Mac to post it.

I just logged into my iTunes account and it was free when I got it today, I started doubting myself and thinking I spent $26 on it, it's good but that's over priced.

Once again my apologies for wasting your time.

    • no probs, I think it may have ended at midnight in the US. I read a bit more about it and Apple have allowed this UX to be pirated into three different versions and approved on itunes. That's why the developer was trying to undercut those pirated apps. Seems he changed his mind already.

Dev should sell it to us for 99c. That'd be about $500 more than he'd be seeing from us otherwise. Might get some nice reviews too if the goods are… well, good.

        • Good call. I'd buy one.

    • Yup, it was free and they said it'd stay like that for the next 5 days.
Then they pulled out a few hours later.

I wish I had my ipad with me today. :(

Said something and backed out instantly.. seems not a professional developer after all. Either amateurs or childish. Now I'm starting to doubt the quality of the app made by the developer

  • Posted and expired so quick?

  • I expect he bowed to pressure from someone upstairs. He did it to rock the Apple cart & I expect a few started falling out.

I got it for free earlier so I can confirm the deal.
