iTunes First in a Series: Free eBooks for a Limited Time

180

iTunes Australia is offering a variety of free eBooks. They are all the first books from a variety of different series. Categories include Romance, Crime/Thrillers, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Paranormal Romance, Young Adult, Fiction and Comics. Not sure when this ends but usually iTunes promos last for around a week.

Not sure what sort of books everyone is interested in but there are quite a few, and a few from well-known authors as well. Hope you find something you like. Cheers!

  • Please list some titles and their links.

    • Just click on the link in the OP and open iTunes when prompted.

it is always a good practice to be specific in posting deals which can be done by listing a few examples of what OP thinks as a good deal. It will help others to decide whether it's worth their time to see/visit the store to get the deal and/or find other deals

      • It is literally 2 clicks on my mouse to seeing all these titles laid out with front covers in iTunes. Why should OP have to fart around typing links when it really is so simple to see all the free books in the categories OP has mentioned in his post?

        • This is by no means necessary, but the value add would help others and therefore strengthen the deal post.

If there was any particularly recognisable title in the list of free books, this would be of more interest than just free books in general.
e.g. 1st Superman comic (thank you Deepansh http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/105435#comment-1424333)

I had no access to iTunes on the device I was browsing with.
An example of a title available that the OP thought was worthwhile would help with the determination of whether or not I make an effort to look at the list in iTunes later.

If there is nothing to recommend then fine… that's an indication that selection is not noteworthy. However:

a few from well-known authors as well

I've looked at the list and I still have no idea who these are.
Perhaps I would like to widen my reading horizons, but I don't know which ones OP is referring to.

Stop being so lazy and just click through. It would've taken less time than the amount of time it took you to compose your complaint. To top it off, I don't see you thanking the OP either. That's right, go ahead and click that green + at the top, seeing that you haven't done that already.

        • If I found something that was of interest to me, I would thank the OP, but so far I have not.

With 1603+ users clicking through, there is 1603x the time saved if the OP listed what they found of interest.

        • -2

Exactly, what they found of interest and not necessarily you, meaning you could potentially lose out on something you might like.

OP isn't an advertiser or marketer, he's just being nice and sharing his discovery. Just a quick scan is all it takes, surely 1631 'people' can't be wrong.

PS: I wasn't trying to be rude in my previous comment, it was meant to be in a light-hearted spirit.

  • They have a category for "Paranormal Romance"?

    • +2

Yep, I'm waiting for subnormal romance.

    • +1

Probably for "Twilight" and any other books with vampires or unicorns. Or vampire unicorns?

      • Vampire Unicorns??? Epic, I'm in for this!!

  • Well, Fetish by Tara Moss is there.

  • Just checked Amazon and I think all of these free ibooks books are free for Kindle.

ex: Rotten Gods, The Fey, etc, etc

  • Superman #1 Issue
