    I know we all hate DX now, but if anyone has a credit left over from the craptastiic Au direct it might serve them to get it from there, should be fast shipping and currently going for $10 more so even if you just ordered 1 tablet you may be better off

    Cheaper because of its 4GB ROM. 16GB ROM is getting common and inexpensive. Certainly 8GB is cheap nowadays.

    I cancelled my DX deal because:

    • They did not have local stock and after 2 weeks, they said they will try to post it from China (which will take a few more weeks).
    • The 4GB ROM is 1GB phone memory + 3GB internal SD card. I hacked my tablet from 1GB + 15GB internal SD to 2GB + 14GB internal SD… even with 2GB phone memory, I still have to be selective. I know Link2SD, App2SD… but they are annoying and I had corruption happened to the special partition setup for that.
    • The CPU is slower than Tegra 3… while the GPU is faster, with 1GB phone memory, you cannot install many games.

    It is good that we start to see cheap quad core phones, but they really need to fix that 1GB phone memory setup. $189 is not a good deal for this phone though.

      This phone has great specs (Gravitymod2 can change the system storage to 2gb), a really nice screen, and excellent build quality. The stock ROM has an option to install to SD rather than phone storage. Performance measured with Antutu and Quadrant is in the HTC One range. For half the price of an S3 you get 90% of the phone plus dual SIM. No other seller has it below $200 except DX.

      So while all your points are true, I disagree with your conclusion. This is a good phone, and this is a good deal for this phone.
