  • I got a voucher in the mail today offering all of this PLUS 3 months free IQ.
Voucher says to call 1300 732 458 and quote validation code "IQ323", valid for 7 days from date of the letter (interestingly dated 26 Feb, which is tomorrow !!)

  • "Min cost $440. Min cost iQ2 $760."
People, please be aware of your committed outlay before signing up to ANYTHING!

  • It's good how its only a 12mth contract now. :)

    • High five for economic downturn!

  • are you guys aware this deal has been around for who knows how long? the deal is just being reworded all the time.

i signed up 2 years ago on the exact same deal so this is not really a bargain. Just a standard package to me.

    • Agree that this is a pretty standard offer - not really a bargain. I get mail all the time from foxtel with similar offers. Perhaps better to haggle face to face as Stuzi suggests below.

  • +1

I got offered free installation on a 6 month contract and 1 free package the other day at the supermarket. Anyone who has worked for them will tell you they can do you a good deal….its just people still sign up for 12-24 month contracts so they have no need to offer better deals unless they are really hard pressed for your sale!

    • agreed. that's what i plan to do in a few weeks when I turn 18….

  • FOXTEL also offered "ABSOLUTELY NO CONTRACT" offers about 1 year ago.

It is available right now if you speak to the right person.

I would ask a number of staff at their CALL CENTRE (hang up in their face if they say "This offer doesn't exist"), because only a select few (ie: Managers) know how to find this offer on their computer systems.

    • "hang up in their face"…
Really AlexDude, wouldn't it be better for all concerned if you simply asked politely to speak to a manager?
After all, you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

Nah, hang up in their face I say.

If they point blank tell you that "The offer doesn't exist" without checking first, they have no idea and are not worth wasting your time talking to them.
