  The maximum amp output is 2.0

  only 0.5 amp per slot……. not very useful these days. also showing out of stock for me… maybe thats just me

    I am not sure the Officeworks team member got this answer completely right.

    On many of these the 2 amps is not split by the ports, so if you only have 1 device connected it gets the full 2 amps….

      I have one and it will charge an ipad 3 but not at full speed (50% slower), I suspect it's not a full 2 amps per port

        Any other cheaper options for something like this. I've been looking for something that can charge 2 ipads at once.

        Or is there a 4 port one that can do simultaneous 2 amp charging?

        I bought one from ebay a few months back.

        It can charge 4 small devices, or only 2 bigger devices at once.

    Maybe he is out of stock and hoping to get more, so temp. put the price up to soemthing silly.
