I remember seeing similar products for over $100. Looked pretty cheap. I have a glass front door, so not overly useful to me, but may be of interest to fellow OzBargainers.

Yep, with 25 items mentioned in the other post, no wonder I missed it.
No worries. it's worth to post as separate post…

I just finished installing mine. Great price, great gadget.
These can be found at most Bunnings for this price (I've seen in my local 3)
If you don't already have a hole in your door for a door viewer (like me) you just need a decent drill and a 14mm bit. Installation took about 15 minutes and most of that was worrying that I'd screw up my front door! ;)
Recommended.
Thanks for the feedback. I don't know how these compare to the $125 one sold at Masters.
Could you install this on a car as a reverse camera?
Yes, you could, but you'd have to get a passenger to hold the steering wheel while you climbed back into the boot to check the display!
Some of these have a camera in the back of the viewer, and others have a camera that screws into the peephole and connects to the viewer by a bunch of contacts that 'make' when you clip the viewer onto the door/peephole bracket. In either case, they're designed to put the viewer right over the peephole.
I'm not sure which approach the Bunnings one takes, but short answer: no. There's plenty of gadgets (cameras, displays, PVRs, etc, etc) on aliexpress that will let you do what you want to do for about the same price as this, though.
I bought one and installed it, they are very nice BUT if you have a screen door, it's really hard to see anything, you could open the screen door but that defeats the purpose somewhat.
I thought it would make a nice reversing camera but it has a short ribbon type lead and would be hard to extend for a car.
Was loth to take something as cool as that back but thems the breaks
InnitThere's a ton of rear-view cameras and monitors, and kits containing both, on aliexpress. There's some neat ones that have the monitor built into a rear view mirror, too. Here's an example of one of the cheaper ones www.aliexpress.com/item/z/691031588.html
I've seen these at this price at the far-west-chatswood bunnings a couple of weeks ago. Excellent price, OP, you can't get 'em from China for this price!
kind of a useless gadget really
Bunnings Stafford QLD have these going for $15. Picked one up today. Hopefully I can find someone to give it to since I don't need a peephole on my door!
Great deal at $15. Will be interesting to see if Bunnings will match at other stores or states.
Bunnings Northland VIC refused to price match. Still $29.
Hi eug, if you can't find a taker….I'd happily pay the postage & an extra (say v$5) on top for your travels? Can't find any in Adelaide's suburbs!!! ;->)) Cheers, ozzie
